Hi! I’m Kori, chaos whisperer, productivity junkie, and founder of Whitespace.

As a single mom and business owner, I know what it’s like to juggle the needs of a family, self, and career. I can’t tell you how many times I felt there wasn’t enough time in the day, or days in the week, to get it all done and maintain some semblance of sanity.

Luckily, I’m a huge puzzle nerd. Seriously, it doesn’t matter what kind: jigsaw, brainteasers, riddles. (If there’s a problem, yo’ I’ll solve it. Too much? Ok.) So, I put my puzzle-loving skills to work and figured out a few ways to create some “whitespace” in my work and life, and still pay my bills.

Along the way, I was blessed with the opportunity to don a variety of hats as I worked alongside department leaders and agency principals to streamline their operations, increase the company’s bottom line, and keep their people happy in the process. From graphic designer to project manager, business strategist to finance director, I’ve done it all! And most importantly, I’ve learned what works—and what doesn’t.

In 2018, I combined these learnings with my passion for problem-solving to launch Whitespace Consulting and made it my mission to help creative leaders get a handle on the parts of their business that are holding them back from living the life they dreamed of when they made the brave decision to go into business for themselves.

Kori has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation from the world-renowned Project Management Institute (PMI).
